Hey Spurs! 


Here’s a quick update as I know there is lots happening lately!

**Please ID your horses in your 4honline profile ASAP!!  We are here to help answer any questions, there is also a link to instructions and the Animal Housing Form on the Team Cowboy site, also www.bibbercreekspurs4h.org, our fb page, and a print out of each in your child’s binder.


 


Speaking of www.bibbercreekspurs4h.org please check your emails for an invitation to join our new website.  We would like to switch away from TeamCowboy asap but cannot do this until everyone else switches over.  If you did not receive an invite you can still go to the site and click on “Log In” to reach the “Sign Up” link.  Follow the instructions to complete the process.  If you have any issues please reach out to Amanda at akelleyteng@gmail.com


 


BIBBER CREEK SPURS SCHEDULE

  • 2/2 Winter Classic Gymkhana #1 hosted by Equilite

  • 2/5 Fundraiser and meeting for Horse Council at Chic-fil-A (Colorado Mills location) 6PM

  • 2/8 Showtime Success Clinic – Fairgrounds Indoor Event Center 9AM-2PM

  • 2/11 Club Business Meeting @ ECMR 6PM

  • 2/15 Club Ride at Jeffco Fairgrounds Event Center 10AM to 1:30PM

  • 2/23 Winter Classic Gymkhana #2 hosted by Bibber

 


WINTER CLASSIC SERIES – 2/2, 2/23, 3/2, 4/6


  • Our Winter Classic Series kicks off this Sunday, Feb 2nd with Gymkhana!

  • There’s still time to sign up!

  • WE NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR OUR BIBBER HOSTED SHOWS ON 2/23 & 3/2!!

 


HORSE COUNCIL


  • Fundraiser and Meeting will be held at Chic-fil-A (Colorado Mills location) on Wed, Feb 5th.  The fundraiser runs from 5pm to 8pm and you must mention that you are supporting 4-H when ordering for us to receive credit.  Please help spread the word!  Copy and share the post from our fb page.

  • The Showtime Success Clinic is scheduled for Feb 8thand is aimed towards new and Level II families.  There will be two wonderful clinicians helping all of our members learn and improve their horsemanship skills along with several veteran parents to help answer all your 4-H questions.  Bring a horse for $20 or audit for $10. CLUB INDOOR RIDE – Saturday, Feb 15th 10:30AM to 1:30PM @ Jeffco Fairgrounds

Mock Show!!  Ride your best and be ready to take part in our Winter Classic Mock Pleasure Show!  Kelsey Lane is our AMAZING judge for our Club’s actual Winter Classic Pleasure Show and she wants to see what we’ve got!

  • 10:30 Western Tack Up & Warm Up

  • 11:00-11:45  Western Rail Classes, Western Pattern Classes, Ranch Riding

  • 11:45 – 12:15 Showmanship (Split arena)

  • 12:00-12:30 Tack Change and English warm-up

  • 12:30 – 1:15PM English Rail, English Pattern, Hack

Only 4-H volunteers are allowed in the arena with the horses per Colorado 4-H rules.
